These terms apply when you ask Marbella Plumber to carry out work. They sit alongside your statutory rights as a consumer in Spain, which they do not remove.
Who you are dealing with
Marbella Plumber, a plumbing business based in Calahonda, Mijas, Málaga, Spain.
- Email: info@marbellaplumber.com
- Phone: +34 951 127 041
What we do
We carry out plumbing, drainage and water-heating repairs and installations along the Costa del Sol, from San Pedro de Alcántara to Benalmádena.
Enquiries, quotes and agreed work
A call or message starts a conversation; it does not confirm an appointment. Before work begins we agree two things with you: what the work includes, and the price.
For straightforward repairs we agree a price up front, usually after seeing a photo or short video. Where the fault cannot be judged from a photo, we confirm the scope and price on site before starting. If we find something different once we’re there, we explain it and agree any change with you before doing extra work.
Published prices on this site are a guide to specific jobs. The price for your job is the one we agree with you.
Booking, access and cancellation
- We agree a time window with you. We send an ETA while travelling.
- Access is your responsibility. Somebody must be at the property, or arrangements made for keys or a caretaker. If we cannot get in, we may have to charge for the visit.
- If you need to cancel or move an appointment, tell us as early as you can. Repeated cancellations or a no-access visit may be charged.
Payment
Payment is due on completion of the work unless we have agreed otherwise in writing. We will tell you the accepted payment methods before the job. Prices are in euros and include applicable taxes where stated.
Workmanship and warranty
Our work carries a one-year warranty unless we agree something different in writing. The warranty covers our workmanship. It does not cover:
- parts or equipment supplied by you
- normal wear, limescale or scale damage
- damage caused by a third party after we leave
- faults we specifically told you about and left in place at your request
If something we fixed fails within the warranty period, tell us and we will look at it.
Delays
We give realistic arrival windows, not guarantees. Traffic, earlier jobs running long and parts availability can affect timing. If we are delayed we will tell you as soon as we know.
Your responsibilities
Please tell us everything relevant about the property — known faults, previous work, asbestos, shared supplies, or anything that affects access or safety. If you own a rental property, tell us who can arrange access.
Liability
We are responsible for loss or damage we cause through our own negligence, up to the limits set by Spanish law. We are not responsible for pre-existing faults in the property, for problems caused by work done by others, or for indirect losses such as lost rent where we were not told about the consequence.
Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights.
Complaints
If something is not right, tell us first — by phone or email — and give us the chance to put it right. If we cannot resolve it between us, you can escalate to the consumer authority for your region in Spain.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of Málaga province, without affecting your right as a consumer to bring a claim in your own local courts.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your job is the one in force when we agree the work.
