Where might a pipe be leaking?

If you can safely reach the stop tap, turning off the water can limit further damage while we arrange a visit. Don’t remove tiles or open a wall to find the pipe. A few clear photographs and a short video are more useful for the first assessment.

What should I send before booking?

Message us on WhatsApp with the address area, what you’ve noticed and when it started. We aim to reply within about 10 minutes. Send a photo of the affected area and, if possible, a short video showing the leak or the nearby pipework.

That first exchange helps us work out what may be involved and which materials to bring. We diagnose remotely as far as the images allow, then buy the required materials before setting off. You’ll know the agreed price before work begins, and we send an ETA update while travelling.

How do we repair the pipe?

The repair depends on the pipe, its position and the condition of the surrounding connection. We inspect the accessible area, identify the likely failure point and explain the proposed work before starting. If the leak is hidden and the first evidence doesn’t show its exact route, we’ll say so rather than promise a repair in the wrong place.

Once the fault is accessible, we replace or repair the affected section or fitting as appropriate, then check the work for signs of further leakage. We bring our own working kit in the white VW Transporter, including Worx drills and hand tools. If access needs a different approach, we’ll discuss that with you before proceeding.
