Water Heater Repair
No hot water? We diagnose and fix water heater faults the same day — send a photo first.
A shower that fades when another tap runs, or a kitchen tap that barely flows, can make ordinary jobs take longer. The useful first step is to work out whether the problem affects one outlet or several, because that changes what we check.
We’re a small plumbing operation based in Calahonda, covering San Pedro de Alcántara to Benalmádena on the Costa del Sol. Greg has and has been. We hold a 5.0-star rating from 26 Google reviews.
Try another cold tap, then a hot one, and note what happens. If only one outlet is weak, the cause may sit close to that tap. If several outlets have low flow, the issue may involve a wider part of the plumbing or the incoming supply.
You don’t need to dismantle anything to help us assess it. Tell us which taps or showers are affected, whether the problem is constant, and if you’ve noticed a recent change. A short video of the flow can be useful, especially if it shows the difference between two outlets.
Low flow can have more than one cause. A restriction at an outlet is different from a leak or a problem affecting several fixtures, so replacing a tap before checking the pattern may not solve it. We’ll ask what you’ve observed, then inspect the relevant parts of the system.
If you can see water around pipework or a fitting, mention that straight away. A leak can sometimes affect pressure, and it deserves a separate check. Our pipe leak repair service covers that work.
Message us on WhatsApp with a description and photos, or a short video of the affected outlet. We aim to reply within about 10 minutes. We’ll ask a few direct questions, assess what the evidence suggests and arrange a visit if the problem needs an on-site inspection.
Where the assessment points to a repair, we buy the materials we expect to need before setting off. We agree the price with you before the work starts, then send an ETA update on the way. At the property, we check the outlets and accessible plumbing related to the symptoms, explain what we find and discuss the next step before making a repair.
The right fix depends on what we find. A local restriction may call for work at the outlet; a wider issue needs the relevant pipework or fittings checked. We’ll describe the finding in plain terms, so you can decide on the repair with the scope and price clear.
A photo or video can help narrow down what to bring, but it doesn’t replace an inspection where the cause isn’t visible. We use the first exchange to prepare, then check the affected system in person before confirming the work. That avoids treating a symptom at one tap as proof that the whole property has the same fault.
Greg arrives in a white VW Transporter with the tools needed for plumbing repairs, including Worx drills and a Dexter wrench. We carry a 1-year warranty on our work.
Send a WhatsApp message with the outlets affected and a short video if you can take one. We’ll respond, assess the likely cause and arrange a visit if needed. We cover the coast from San Pedro de Alcántara to Benalmádena, working from our base in Calahonda.
Cost depends on what is causing the change in flow and the work needed to address it. We agree the price before starting, once we’ve discussed the likely repair. Our pricing information explains the published charges; contact us with details for a quote on your pressure problem.
Yes, we can assess a single affected shower as well as problems across several outlets. Tell us whether other taps have normal flow when you contact us.
Not necessarily. A leak is one possibility, but restrictions and other plumbing faults can also affect flow. We’ll check the evidence before recommending work.
A short video helps show the flow and can make the first assessment more useful. Photos of the outlet and any visible pipework can help too.
We’re based in Calahonda and serve the Costa del Sol coastal corridor between San Pedro de Alcántara and Benalmádena.
FAQ
That single answer points at the cause. One tap is usually a scaled cartridge or a partly closed isolation valve. Every outlet means something upstream: the incoming supply, a pressure-reducing valve, or a shared supply to the building. Tell Greg which, and send a photo of the stop tap and any valve you can see.
A sudden drop is often a valve that has been turned or a filter that has choked. A gradual one is usually scale building up, which is the common story on the Costa del Sol because the water is hard. Greg will check the obvious before suggesting anything expensive, and he carries a pressure gauge in the van to measure it rather than guess.
Greg measures at an outlet and works back towards the supply, checking the stop tap, any reducing valve and the isolation valves on the way. You get a reading and a straight answer about whether the fix is a cartridge, a valve or a conversation with the community. Nothing is replaced on a hunch.
